The brief :

The client wanted a modern, user-friendly lab featuring smart technology, soft lighting, and a stylish yet comfortable environment that encouraged interaction between students and teachers.

The outcome :

We designed the space with custom linear lighting and recessed LED fixtures integrated into a gypsum false ceiling, creating a sleek and contemporary aesthetic. In the walking area, a scratch-resistant round Corian tabletop added a durable, premium touch.

An open layout, ergonomic furniture, and acoustic treatments enhanced both comfort and collaboration. Smart boards and interactive technology were incorporated to support dynamic, engaging learning experiences for both students and instructors.

Flooring was thoughtfully zoned with a combination of carpet tiles and hard surfaces to reduce noise, define areas, and improve safety. A neutral colour palette contributed to a bright, timeless atmosphere, while light wood furniture and wall panelling introduced warmth and texture.

A glass-and-metal framed entrance completed the design with a modern, professional finish.
