The concept :
This commercial factory interior project in Bhiwadi focused on transforming the reception and entrance experience of an existing automobile components factory. The intention was to create a welcoming, refined and globally presentable environment that reflects the company’s growth and professionalism.
The design combines strong materiality with natural elements, introducing warmth, texture and hospitality into an industrial setting while maintaining the identity of the manufacturing space.

This commercial factory interior project in Bhiwadi focused on transforming the reception and entrance experience of an existing automobile components factory. The intention was to create a welcoming, refined and globally presentable environment that reflects the company’s growth and professionalism.
The design combines strong materiality with natural elements, introducing warmth, texture and hospitality into an industrial setting while maintaining the identity of the manufacturing space.
The brief :
The factory already had an operational reception area with basic finishes, but the client wanted to elevate the experience for international visitors and business associates, particularly guests visiting from countries like Japan.
The brief included creating an inviting reception space with a premium visual identity, dedicated certificate display areas, small meeting zones and product showcase units for automobile components. The overall atmosphere needed to feel warm, organised and representative of the company’s standards.
The outcome :
Inspired by one of Rise and Tread’s previous projects featuring stone moulding and integrated lighting, the reception was redesigned using the studio’s signature design philosophy of layered materials and ambient detailing.
Marble stone surfaces were introduced as the base material, complemented by walnut-finished wooden laminates that add richness and warmth. Taking advantage of the ceiling height, large vertical panels were designed to create a grandeur spatial experience. Backlit display shelves with glass shutters were introduced to showcase automobile components while ensuring protection and concealed lockable storage.
Soft diffused lighting creates a calm ambient atmosphere throughout the reception area, while four-seater meeting tables allow for informal discussions and client interactions. Certificates and achievements were thoughtfully displayed to reinforce the company’s credibility and legacy.
At the entrance, a waterfall feature layered with greenery creates a refreshing first impression. Stone-carved finishes and textured paint were carefully coordinated to maintain a cohesive material palette. Bougainvillea plantations were introduced to help soften the harsh Rajasthan summer climate while adding vibrancy to the exterior experience.
Additional details such as black leather-finish laminates add softness and sophistication, balancing the industrial nature of the factory with a more premium hospitality-inspired environment.
